Grand Island, Neb. — With the upcoming Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, the City of Grand Island is announcing various closures, but CRANE Public Transit Service will also operate its normal hours as a service to the general public.
All of the below departments will, however, be closed on Monday, January 19:
Grand Island City Hall
Grand Island Cemetery Office
Utilities Service Center
GIPD Service Desk (Please call 9-1-1)
Grand Island Public Library
Heartland Public Shooting Park
Wastewater Treatment Plant
The Community Fieldhouse will be open for its normal hours, as will the Solid Waste, Streets Department and Fleet Services. All city facilities will be resuming normal business hours on Tuesday, January 20.
